The Community Builder Award can be described as “The highest award that can be presented to an individual or group outside of the Masonic Fraternity. The award is designed to recognize non-Masons for outstanding contributions in time and effort in the promotion and support of their community as well as community development”. The Masonic Fraternity regards public schools as an important step in building better people for a better tomorrow and for this reason, takes an interest in the youth of our communities. The Masonic Fraternity is actively involved in several roles with various schools; including a scholarship grant to graduating seniors, The Fantastic Teeth Program, Take Time to Read, and Public Schools Week.
This year’s recipient was Tom Glenn, for his dedication and commitment to the public school system and the students of Leander I.S.D.
Congratulations well deserved
